Animal Blessing and Pet Festival

Please plan to join our furry, feathered, and leathered animal friends this coming Sunday for a very special afternoon of fun. ARF will be at Peace with their mobile cat adoption unit for those of you interested in extending your family by one, as well as bringing some of their therapy dogs so you can become acquainted with the important work these four-legged wonders do for their two-legged friends. There will be a silent auction with items both animal and non-animal related, an animal art exhibit, and a host of exhibits and animal experts. Hot dogs and beverages available for sale (no dogs will be harmed in the making of the refreshments), and Anita will be leading the children in animal-themed crafts and games throughout the day.

Please extend this invitation to all your friends, encouraging those with pets to bring them (leashed or caged) for a special blessing. While humans may attend without a pet, we’re asking that all animals come accompanied by a human! This event is free and open to the entire community!
