Kathy Jones, a licensed MFT, has been practicing at Peace Counseling Center since 1995. Kathy graduated from the CAL Berkeley and received her MA in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary’s in Moraga, California. Her graduate work also includes a certificate for school counseling. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist Kathy had experience in the corporate world and was an elementary school teacher.
Kathy has done counseling within a school setting, has lead church youth groups, and has extensive experience in group facilitation in a hospital setting with clients experiencing clinical depression. She currently has office hours at Peace Counseling Center and is a group facilitator at Eden Hospital. She also continues to tutor children in elementary through high school age.

- group and individual cognitive treatment of depression

- journeying with individuals through life transitions
Kathy’s theoretical background is in Humanist Client Centered Therapy and Cognitive Psychology.
